Damian is a guy that draws pictures, and he's lucky enough to do it for a living. I guess that means he's good at it. He doesn't just draw though, he also makes them move, and is pretty handy at design as well.

In 1998 Damian graduated from Holmesglen TAFE with a Certificate in Multimedia. Also in October of that year Damian attended Richard Williams Animation Master Class where he was assigned as Richards personal assistant during the 4 day seminar. The following year he started work as a trainee with Disney Television Animation, Sydney. During his time at Disney, Damian worked on various feature productions, including Return to Neverland, Little Mermaid II and Lady and the Tramp II. After leaving Disney, Damian worked on various productions around Australia and spent a year in London doing character design for BKN International Animation Studios. In 2007 Damian formed the partnership Smart and Sheard Productions, a company that produces original animated content for television. Damian character designed and produced the 2D Flash animation series The Beach Crew screening on Fox8 and KidsCo in more than 80 countries, from Spain to Taiwan. In early 2010 Damian produced his first short film Squirrel Away which screened in over 25 local and international film festivals. More recently Damian worked for Salmat Learning doing animation and illustrations for Learning and Development platforms. Currently Damian is a lecturer at JMC Academy in Traditional animation, Life drawing and Character Design.
